That is a pretty good buy, since it is one of the rare ones that has a front brake. I have bought several between $50 and $75 but have never found one with a front brake. I have always had to install one myself.

Do you mean a jackshaft on the drive side or a jackshaft for the other side for a shift kit?

I see you have a jackshaft on the bike you posted on the build off page. Did you build that one?

Thats why I built mine so I could center the motor, and have two short chains rather than the super long one. I built mine with #41 chain and sprockets. That is what I used 10 tooth & 10 tooth then 12 to the rear. I found a place on line where you can order any sprocket you want plus 5/8 jackshafts with a 3/16 keyway cut in them. Also the 5/8 X 1 3/8 sealed bearings. The price and shipping is really reasonable. I just used some chromoly tubing, and bored it for the 1 3/8 bearings. It worked out so sweet.

is 41 narrower than 40? it beat the crap out of the cases and can u send me some pics? how do you adjust the slack from the first chain? the pillow blocks i used were slotted plus i slotted the mounting plate 10 to 10 to 12 to 48 was the perfect gear ratio I thought.. also i drilled the rear sprocket through the hub with 4 6 mm 1.0 allen bolts instead of a adaptor worked out sweet
