Default anodize motor bicycle at home

I've been looking into this could be fun to try but there is nasty chemicals and some risks. I might try it out sometime as I like to experiment.

Hey Norm we made it in 9 hrs. I'm on my handheld puter so I have to type real slow. You are having to much fun if your anodizing. And we all know you lIke dangerous chemicals.........

Sulphuric acid is not that dangerous.

mix sulphuric and nitric with glycerin and see what will happen.
Things can get out of control very quickly and cause a bad last day.

Did you look the diys anodizing site over close? I'd like to try this some time I've copper flash plated before but thats it. The acid ate holes in my shirt and pants I didn't know I had it on me until my Mom washed them, they looked like they had been shot with a shot gun.

Good glad you had a safe trip that's a long trip on a bicycle. I found out some interesting things on my ignition system today remind me, I'll tell you about it. The china plug is better than I thought, if fowled out it can be saved, reused if properly cleaned but if you don't do it right it will eat your lunch.
