all american briggs and straton

hi; im watching a show on china and up jumps b/s in china. they had just closed and laid off 500 american workers who had to train their replacements a lot of them had spent their lives in the plant. now they are having a rough time like so many americans are. please dont shop at wal-mart. mitch

Yeah, I bought a Briggs and Stratton outboard motor....apperently the whole works was made in China and it was an expaensive P.O.S. that has had more trouble than running time! Plastic crap fuel pump, bogus fuel lines, not made to be near water (it's an outboard for cryin' out loud!) ect. ect.

what else is new? we've gotten to the point in America where our gluttonous lifestyles can't be sustained by only American production. Instead, we can only keep living in excess if we only pay the people who produce our goods < $20 per month.
