My Commute

Today was the first time I rode my bike to work. Google maps tells me the 16.3 mile trip should take about 36 min. by car. I did it in about 45 min. WOOT! Bike rode like a champ! I just had to tell someone who would care. My wife still thinks I am nuts.

My bike is probably slower than a lot here. Still, when you get an MB running good, you can expect to do trips at an average speed about half that of a car; often better.

It's a great thing, ain't it? Our country should be encouraging the use bicylces with and without motors. We are stuck between wanting to tell everyone, and wanting to keep it secret so we don't get punished.

The division, conference, and league! Go Sharks! (but of course this says nothing about what really matters,... the play-offs)
