I've known about this for a while but lost the name of the ranch and the new's article that came with it. Of course you know here in Tucson we are just a hipedie hop from the border. I travel to Mexico alot and some time's I stop at a Ranch near the border to look at some bike's.
Yes I shop for bike's at a Ranch. A local rancher collect everyhting that they find dumped in the deasert left buy illegal immigrant's and sells them. I wish I knew what I did with the article I was saving it to post it but somehow lost it.
I just now found the pic's burried in my PC and thought you might would like to see. I used a couple bike's from there to build MB for a co-worker and friends.... Some bikes go for a dollar...they have collected hundres of bikes that have been dumped in the desert.
Hopefully next time I can get the name of the ranch |

| | Re: Bicycles, Bicycles, Bicycles My source for cheap bikes has dried up. I need to check out the police and sheriff auctions I guess. Wish I lived close enough to go there and load up a pick up truck. |

| | Re: Bicycles, Bicycles, Bicycles I was able to pickup seven bikes today at garage sales spent a total of $30.00. The most expensive was $12.00. I plan on using parts from at least five to build my next motorized creation. So far I have purchased sixteen and have sold some them. It's nice way to support my motorbike habit. Check out garage sales at least in Ohio they are good source. |

| | Re: Bicycles, Bicycles, Bicycles Garage sale's are awesome. I got my avatar bike for $15.00 brand new still in the box. I was planing on building a MTB, but since I got the cruiser for such a good deal I went with it, I'm glad I did. |
