for my junkyard build i plan on making a bicycle frame from bamboo.


im disputing what kind though
first of all only the frame will be bamboo
it HAS to be a triangular frame


soooooo... what kind do YOU guys want to see
to be blunt im just building this to build it
it will not have a motor so i dont know if it can be entered in this contest officially


but do you guys wanna see a board tracker
a racer
mountain bike
cruiser

in fact im gonna start a poll
winner gets built
but fyi i have a lot of cool flat tracker parts lying around




the budget im setting for this bike is 50$
i already have the hemp and epoxy needed to build this thing and MOST of the metal parts budget will go to junk bikes and a new chain

i only voted to test the poll ^

Far as I can tell there are no rules so build your heart out. Of course I have no voice in the rules committee lol (if there were one that is)

i still dont know why they didn't do winner gets a full kit.
i like that idea better than small prizes but then again im not going to win so i should probably just shut-up and hope i get a prize

you know hemp for the joints

you roll the joints with hemp and epoxy

also if anyone is interested this guys plans are what made me wanna build this thing

I once built a hang glider out of bamboo....scary and fun, it actually lasted longer than the clear plastic sheeting it was covered with. We Used fiberglass tape for the joints, a little harder to keep lit!
