| | Re: Bearing in rear wheel I had to rob one for a new wheel that lasted about a week or two. I have no idea what happened to mine either but the holder was just a twisted mess. I found one but I would have just shoved a bunch of bearing in loose if I hadn't found one. I'm told loose is fine as long as they are the right size. Bikes shops, (spit) has them. |

| | Re: Bearing in rear wheel Ya, That was my next step put them in loose. Probably put an extra one or two to cover the distance of the missing holder thing. Wow, those are some good pictures, sure glad someone told me about Tinypic.com |

| | Re: Bearing in rear wheel that's strange the bike shop swears thats how they do it all the time. Does you cone not fit right. If so maybe that is why it was breaking the bearing holders. |

| | Re: Bearing in rear wheel There are some pretty sorry hubs out there. You may want to check with your LBS on the price of a complete wheel with a Shimano hub. Try for heavier gauge stailnless spokes while your spending the money. How about JB weld....LOL. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
