Default Riding in the rain

Beware of riding in the rain
A friend of mine was riding his bike in the rain and it quit. I checked all electrical devises, actually replaced all of them.
Root cause.
No rear fender on his mountain bike. Rain off his rear tire flushed his carb. Smoked the top end. Metal everywhere. If your riding in the rain, have a rear fender...maybe a shield attached to seat post.
Regards,
Al

Also keep the magneto cover tight as well, water can get in aswell and cause problems.
