| | Pima Air Museum Ride Today I had to go to the far east side to meet with a gentleman about driving for his team next year. Since I cannot commute to work on my MB anymore and have not ridden my bike since the Twin Loops ride; I decided to ride my MB over there.
Here is a link to the Museum... Home |

| | Re: Pima Air Museum Ride My pedal lost a nut on the way. I tried to pedal without it but my foot kept slipping off.
Sooo, a couple of zip ties and some electrical tape took care of it
While fixing my pedal I was being buzzed by a C-130 a few times |

| | Re: Pima Air Museum Ride Nice! Those things fly over my house @ 1000 AGL all the time...they land down at the Youngstown air base. They've even flashed their landing lights and rocked the wings!

| | Re: Pima Air Museum Ride Yes it was a nice ride. I figured since I would be in that area I would get some pics of the museum...The KC-97 Stratotanker is what I wanted to get a pic of.
My Dad was a crew chief for the KC-97 and O-1E Birddog in Vietnam. He said the best views are sitting at the boom for the KC-97.
I just put my bike away and it looks like I have a rear flat...at least I made it home before it went flat. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
