Iso Truss frame

Wow! I've never seen anything like this. What a crazy frame, wonder how it would work for a motorized bike.

Yes VB, they say it helps aerodynamic's and I think it is less then three pound's. It is made out of carbon fiber intertwined with kevlar string. It was built by the BYU university and it's only $5000

All kidding aside...carbon fiber is some interesting material. I never got to play with it in a large scale ...but I used to build rocket cars (RC type) back about 10 or more years back and its just amazing what you can do with it. I used to take a 1/4 inch pc of styrofoam and put carbon on opposite side of each other to make frame rails. If you tried to bend it one way it was tough as steel...the other .. fragile as and egg shell. Heck look what Burt Rutan(my hero) does with composites....if I could only grow those pork chop sideburns...I WOULD I TELL YA

Burt Rutan sideburns are not real! They are made out of carbon Fiber
He's the only one who can afford carbon fiber sideburns
