| | Re: FairRacing Pic's The seat post will not allow me to put it the right way....I've been wanting to use a better filter for a long time now. But have not found anything that will fit without a new manifold and hanging it off the side. I don't want to do that. Making a scoop is a good ideal, I've thought about doing it...but just have not got around to it.
If you do make a scoop, post some pic's if you can so I can steal your ideal |

| | Re: FairRacing Pic's For five year I've ran my MB without a fuel filter, I have never had a problem. But I figured I better put one on before Norman yell's at me
I picked this filter up at Checker auto part's...It's a MaxPower part # 4286 about $4.00 |

I'm curious how you wired it, etc... | I could not really tell you what it came off of. I have so many Quads, Three Wheelers, and motorcycle that come and go and a huge pile of extra part's.
It look's like a Honda brand and I can tell from the style it's not a motorcycle. My best guess is a mid 80's three-wheeler or Quad, possible even from the early 90's.
It was very simple to wire up..I used a OHM meter to determine which was the ignition wire on the switch. In this case it was a green wire, the switch has a ground wire that I had to wire to the frame of my bike. The green wire from the switch just goes to the black wire for the motor where the stock kill switch is wired too. Just two wire's...of course if I use the two other switch's it would be more wire's...If I want to use them, I'd do it the same way...use OHM meter to figure out what wire does what.
It has a on/off for light's...whitch I've been saying for years I'm going to add. And a hi/low for the light's...witch I could use for anything that I want...I'm thinking turn signal's ?? And of course ignition on/off

| | Re: FairRacing Pic's This is what tool's I carry....
It all fit's in my seat bag except for the pump...I use to mount it to the frame but twice it has been stolen so now I just put it in my back pack.
I cannot mount the seat bag to my seat anymore because my Dog ate my good seat. So I'm using the stock seat which is not too bad...but it has those big spring's on the back so the bag will not mount.
It all goes right in my back pack and takes up very little room...it may not look like alot of tool's...but I can do almost anything on the side of the road. |
