You have any questions on your build, feel free to ask. I will help out the best I can.

What kit did you order?

I got the "50 cc" kit from Boygofast on Ebay. I'm still scrounging for a bike. I looked at a number of cheap bikes this week and was unimpressed. The Schwinn Jaguar seems to be the leading contender so far but I might still get lucky. With the U of A just starting there is a shortage of used bikes right now.

Actually yes it is pretty safe, most places you go the people don't know if you are Mormon any more, they are still the dominate people there but I have always been treated well. I like it because the people are genuinely nice, not like here in So Cal, I grew up here but there is nothing left for me to enjoy, everything costs you can't stop to park here you will get a ticket. I am Mormon, my family goes all the way back in the church, but that doesn't matter how you are treated. It is a good place to ride a motor bike I love the country side, the high desert is beautiful. I can't retire in Ca, too expensive I have to use my house as part of my retirement. Have fun, Dave

egor, i had a good friend,a bishop in the church i believe. super fellow. moved to fl with wife to be near their son. he kept a full pantry. wheat germ and such. i enjoyed his company. they moved back west yrs ago. whats the monkey doing today ?? fair, neat idea, posting the videos, in one place. you get another atta boy ! i had to leave the tree job at 3 pm, i couldn`t take no more of the heat etc. after i went a few blocks with the ac on, it revived me enough to check out a goodwill store and 3 pawn shops. nothing but junk !! i went to check out a schwinn cruiser with the springer fork 2 months old. said he paid 160 2 mo ago, wanted 99. said it was chained up on bk porch. that i could ck it out. there was about 5 mean looking dudes on the frt porch, bad area, my pk em up wouldn`t stop. when you get old, you turn into a sissy ?? or just more cautious. its like the members are posting, the used bicycles are drying up. the crew and i ate at mac`s at noon. auto service on e side of parking lot. china girl mt`ed on a ladies frame, frt wheel extended by using 2 forks. young man walked over to get a carry out lunch and my guy`s talked to him. he bought it on line . he thought it was a 15cc. said it was not for sale. i asked him if he would take 500. he was not interested. told him it was a reg china girl 50cc. nice kid, loves his bike. the little old man, jocky size, stopped in yesterday. he needed a twist throttle. i gave him a metal one from my kits. he stays at a church dn the road. said he mows the grass etc, but the mower is broke !! i dont think he has much money. he looks older than his 56 yrs. he promised to say good things about me , for the throttle ! anybody else need a throttle ??

Neat, you are the first one that has asked about the monkey. When we were kids we bought a spider monkey from the pet store, I wonder if you could still get one. When we would go out to the garage and work on our motorcycles we would let the monkey go in the garage. It was great fun to see him run around in the rafters and swing from the extension cords. After a while he would get bored and start getting into stuff, he would come down and bite your ears if you would not pay any attention to him. One day he started picking up the parts we would be working on to get some attention and then run up into the rafters then run around as you tried to get back what you wanted. On one of those occasions he got one of the racing plugs we had, they were 3 times the cost of a standard plug, that was a big deal to us. So he got a lot of attention that time, what great fun. But the worst thing was that he would throw the item that he had when we got close or when he got bored, you know what would happen to a glass plug. He was as quick as lightning when he went for something, the next thing you know, "Chuck he has the spark plug again". But we got back at him we noticed that he had to get out what was ever in those little plastic tubes the plugs came in, he would just go nuts trying to get what ever was in the tube, including the plug. So we fixed him we would put a nut in the tube and tape it closed and then put it on the floor and make like it was important and wait for him to snatch it up. He would go up in the rafters and go completely nuts as if he would loose his mind, banging the thing and pitching it to the floor and then running down to see if it was open and then over and over again. On these occasions you did not let him get near you or he would bit the heck out of you. LOL, what great fun, we had to get rid of the thing it was nasty, and the mess you would not believe, I wonder what happened to Steve that is what we named it, after Chucks mean brother. So now you know what happened to the spark plugs. Have fun, Dave

Egor, that's a great monkey story. I'm Mormon too and have some of a lot of odds and ends stored up for when I might need it. I try to use it regularly so I don't just have useless stuff stored away. These bikes are a way to store up gas or at least use less so 10 gallons will get you half way across the country.

Fair, I want to get an Arizona ride or to or ten going too. There are so many great places to go here. datz and myself want to do a dirt ride for grins too. Arizona has at least 2 miles of dirt for every mile of pavement and usually with less traffic. Anybody ever go to Cordes Junction via Bloody Basin Road? I have a few times and it is fabulous back country with detours to Verde River and wilderness areas and many Indian ruins.

No I have never been their but that sounds like a nice ride. Well get something going here soon

My new wheel is having chain/tire Clarence issues. I have given up for tonight, I'll get her straightened out tomorrow.

Ron, the last fight I was in was a few years ago at TRP. I blew a tire and while trying to get out of everybody's way I got into Ralf Baker.

I guess he thought I did it on purpose because while I was limping around (under yellow I might add) the track trying to get into the pits he slammed me from the rear.

Well, I got out of my car and so did he and we went at it. The safety workers broke us up. But, when I got to my pit's both of our crews where going at it. We all got kicked out of the track and banned for one year.

It was all good though, the next weekend we both went dirt racing at Eloy and had some beers after the race in Red Rock.

Damn do I miss racing....anybody got $100,000 I can barrow? You can keep the winnings I just want the trophy.
