Default Clyde's Bike

This is my first build. 4-stroke Hua Sheng kit on a Schwinn Point Beach cruiser. If I had it to do over again, I'd get a cruiser with no derailleurs since pedaling this bike with the engine kit doesn't work out so well anyway.
Beware of any kit that has the gearbox you see here. It's prone to immediate failure. Mine failed on my second spin around the block, right in front of a house with about 20 drunks in the front yard. Kinda embarrassing.
Notice how the exhaust points almost straight down instead of curving back like it's supposed to. Hardly clears the fender but does clear it ok. I reduced these photos to half their original size and reduced colors from 16 million to 256 to make them small as possible and still appear normal.

I'd really have to weigh it to know, but probably 20 lbs. or less. When center-mounted, you never notice since it's so well-balanced. This bike is all aluminum and very light anyway.
