| | Anyone have pics of a motorized BMX build? I have a BMX bike that i plan to motorize.... so far it looks like my only option would be a friction drive, but if anyone has any pictures of a completed bmx or project i'd love to see it.
I've seen ONE online and it was awesome, with the motor mounted under the frame like on a REAL moped.... I am going to try to copy that on my NEXT build, but for now i don't want to cut and weld on this frame...
So friction drive BMX? or any frame mounted 20" tire bikes? thanks in advance! Justin |

Ahhh Yes, now I remember....I believe Kelly posted that at a bike show. That's the one with the Honda mini-bike...I'll search for it when I have time |

| | Re: Anyone have pics of a motorized BMX build? Here's my bike, I'm afraid it only LOOKS like a BMX bike though.
It's actually a 26" mountain bike frame with some BMX handlebars...but I'm 6'5" so it fits ME like a BMX |

| | Re: Anyone have pics of a motorized BMX build? Mine is kind of like that. A "medium" frame mountain bike with 26" wheels..it really feels more like a bmx than a mountain bike, it's pretty small. If I put the seat all the way down, my knees are in my chest while pedalling. still has the normal handlebars though. |
