Where do I start ? ? ? ?

Hello everyone, I'm brand new to this and super excited about getting started.
I'm open to all "Newbie" advice, no matter how obvious it may seem.

What is the best brand of gas engine? ? ? ? Is there one that stands out amongst the rest?
I want to build an 80cc. Is 2-stroke the way to go?
I can buy a RAW locally for $160 so that appeals to me. Are they good?

Like I said, all advice is welcome.

Welcome and you've already started. You've come to the best Motorized Bicycle forum available. There is a world of good information right here at your fingertips. Read, read and read some more before you buy. As for which engine/kit is the best that is a tough question to answer and one you'll get many opinions on. Everyone who is satisfied with their kits will tell you it is the best. Because the engines and the rest of the install kit is so similiar in spite of the brand the one thing that is all important is the warrantee and after sale support that you can expect to get. Take your time and read through the forums for the topic you're interested in. Keep us informed and don't hesitate to ask questions.
