Expect a lot of tweaking, re-tweaking, and possibly fabrication of parts. Of course I am STILL working on my first build. Don't be in a hurry, read every install manual you can find (I recommend spookytooth.com ), and count on the help you will get from the people on this forum. Good luck!

I keep my fenders on mine....but you will need to modify the way the fenders mount.
With the stock set-up, they usually break so you are going to want to "beef them up"

| | Re: super stoked for my two stroke. phoenix, az Hi, Noob. My bike is almost finished, a $99 Schwinn cruiser from walmart. I wanted a front brake so bought the brake kit while I was down at SpookyTooth in Bisbee ,AZ couple weeks ago. The fender is in the way of the brake calipers, but my son is an airframe mechanic for Boeing at the AH-64D plant in Mesa, so soon he will cut out the little bit of metal needed off the fender so I can install it. Same with the rear fender. When I am finished with the build, he will cut out a little section around the chain area for me.
