Hello, I have put a motor on a bike with hand brakes, now I'm switching it over to a beach cruiser with foot brakes, but I dont see how the brakes will work with the sprocket in place of the brake arm? the factory says no problem? any ideas would help. Thanks

You have to bend the brake arm out a bit to clear the nuts on the sprocket but you keep it in place. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum, glad you joined us.

As finfan say's, you will need to bend the brake arm to clear the mounting hardware for the sprocket.

There is also a mod you can do with the dust cover so the sprocket will fit, not needed on some models.

Here some links for ya...
