Default Old Oxford

Hello from Newcastle in Australia.

My name is Ian I am a long time bike rider, I used to race bikes in my teens, Track in summer then road in winter. I recently discovered this fantastic hobby. I run a 70cc frame mounted Chinese engine in an old 27" 10 speed Oxford.

Welcome aboard... I love the bike by the way the absolute opposite of my lil bike. I have mine in a 24" schwinn girlie bike. My bike is so small the engine fills the space.. yours has enough room to actually reach things on it.

Welcome aboard Wildemere. How is ridding season in OZ? Its curently 11 degrees here and I'm itchin' to ride. I like the Old Oxford, it has a great rusty patina that really sets off the gumwalls...Kelly

Thanks for a warm welcome.

Its a rusty old thing from the seventies.

But I like 70's stuff

I'll paint it soon.

The blocks are plain rubber, like off the bottom of old office machines or printers.

Welcome to the club,

Your bike looks really cool. I wondered what these engines would ride like with 27" wheels...pretty fast I bet
