New rider in North Central Florida

Hi Everyone,
I got a kit from DAX and have put about 400 miles on it so far. I ride it to work, about 8 miles each way, and other than the vibration on my hands, I find it a blast. When I get home I change out of my work clothes and go back out.
I had always been into air cooled VW's, because they were so easy to rebuild and cheap to work on. This is even better because if I blow an engine, I am not 3 hours from putting a new one in. I just get on another bike and go.
I am getting another kit next weekend. Now I just need a good bike for it to go on. I wish I knew about these 5 years ago.

Hey Jim, welcome to the forum. Lots of motorized bicycle enthusiasts here. My Dad and I have a VW powered airplane. They are good engines. Glad you joined us..................
