| | new, just bought kit, looks like motor dont fit! Hello. We just bought two kits to install on our existing hybrid bikes however we are just now realizing the engine mounting won't fit the fatter frame.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to adjust the mounting, or should we just buy a cheap regular sized frame bike to mount them on?
We bought the 65 cc motor from thatsdax. We were hoping to get them running this weekend and use them to commute to work. |

| | Re: new, just bought kit, looks like motor dont fit! A "comfort bike"? I am not up on all the modern terminology....my boss yelled at me because I called his 800 dollar road bike a "10 speed".
He said "You obviously don't know ANYTHING about bikes." (yes, he's a leg shaver/spandex elitist who rides a couple dozen miles a year)
Anyhow, once you fit a bicycle motor to a bike, it becomes a motorized bicycle...and I do know a thing or two about those.
