I'm new, but that'll pass....

I'm not new to vintage ballooners, but I am new to the idea of putting an engine in one. I have a '42 Western Flyer that will make the perfect donor for my first attempt at making it's name 'literal'. I just picked up a Whizzer kit, and will be hopefully getting it very soon. It's missing the frame brackets, but i'm not too worried that I wont be able to find what I need to replace them. I've also heard that there's some mods that I should consider, so I'm here to get the most out of the whole experience.
