hi i am new here , i am thinking of getting a kit (48 cc round head)

a guy on ebay says that the 48cc is better than the 70cc he says it is faster , and last longer . What do you guys think ? What is the common cc people run here ?

hi fuzz and welcome. from my understanding the 50cc and 70cc bicycle motors do about the same speed. the 50cc was designed for just riding and the 70cc was designed for pulling power and that is the main difference in the 2. either way they are both alot of fun. glad to have you with us

Welcome.

I would love to get my hands on a 50cc just to compare the two. I have heard that the 50 is a little smoother and revs quicker. The 70cc is the one they fitted to three wheeled hacks and for loads to be pulled. I know all my 70's would pull me and the bike up any hill around here and accellerate while doing it.

Hi Fuzz and welcome. The round head is a great engine, I have tested several diffrent kits and the 48cc round head is the best. Enjoy the ride...Kelly
