I've been wanting a bike motor for many years but couldn't get a yes out of my parents. So I just ordered a 70cc kit and didn't exactly tell them.

I just love putting things together

I'm planning to use my full face motorcycle helmet for head protection.

For break in I'm using walmart oil.

But after break in I'm looking at buying some Mobil 1 Racing 2T full synthetic oil, could I run this a 35:1? Mobil stopped making it last year but Autozone still has some for about $7.40 a quart.

Why not use the mobil for the break in? 20:1 for the break in and 35:1 after should be fine..I run 32:1

hi tyler welcome to the forum. i don't think i ever told my parents when i was doing something like this and i know for sure my kids didnt tell me. make sure you tell them it gets 150 miles per gallon and you dont need to be on their insurance to drive it when they do find out. i am sure they will like that and i wouldn't be surprised if one of your parents will want one. i just moved here from the midwest. i lived in sw michigan till about a month ago glad to have you with us

Got my kit put on and I love. I'm going miss the bike on my backpacking trip in California.

Vibrations above 18 mph with a 44tooth are quite unpleasant, is this normal?

It seems that on certain frames thier is more vibration's then other's. I'm lucky and don't have that problem. Some get alot better after some miles are put on.

Be sure to check you mount that they are tight. Some use rubber around the frame for the mount to limit the vibration...others put slugs in the handle bars...

Thank you, glad to hear it's normal for these 70cc engine.

Vibrations at higher speeds can also be from off-balance wheels, so look into that as well.

Was riding today with the baffle remove.
So I pulled the front wheel off the ground a little, like I do often.

But this time the wheel kept coming up and I got scared so I let off.

I then realized I did a power wheelie with a Chinese engine.

Is wheelie ability common with theses HT engines?
