| | G'day all Thought I better introduce myself before a year goes by, Im brains from Adelaide Australia, put together my first motorized bycycle just a few weeks ago and over the moon with it, she was a bugger at first, but now that the teething issues are sused out she's a little hum digger, its just hard to keep to 20km/hr for the first 500km as stated in the instructions.
Petrol prices in Adelaide are at $1.70 per litre at the moment & I was looking for an alternative transpotation means to get to work, but its turned out to be bigger than any other hobby I have ever had, its actually adictavive.
Watching Fox is now over for killing time & Im spending every minute I have free exploring the possibilities with my new found love, got my hands on a old rusted out Stingray chopper from a garage sale for $20, and my 12year old son has claimed it as his, bugger!
Thanks for your advice all to date & Im sure I will grow old with this site, Im already planning to take my bike with me, so I can get around in the next life
Cheers, Beers & nuts all |

| | Re: G'day all Welcome to the "fix" for the addiction It just get's better. If you need help don't be shy. I have broken just about everything on a bike that CAN be broken. If it can't be fixed with Duct tape, Coat hanger, or JB Weld it might be serious! Later Tramp

I use photobucket to post and resize my pics
Towards the end of this thread the members really helped to learn to post pics using photobucket http://motorbicycling.com/f28/post-m...tures-916.html
Okay here is how to do it using the attachment way
When you are making a post...if you scroll down you will see " Additional Options"
In Additional Options there is "Manage Attachments" it's in a small box.
When you click on that a new window will open
There you will see "Upload file from your computer"
Click on "browse"
A new window will open with pics from your computer...pick the photo you want and open that file.
then click on "upload"....if you want to add another photo click on "browse" again and repeat....you can only post 4 pics on one thread so if you want to add more then 4 you will have to start another post.
Once you have all your pics uploaded...just hit submit.
If your pics are too big they will not post, you will have to resize them.

| | Re: G'day all Looking at the pics I posted I should have cut the lawn & if you look carefully on the lawn you will see one of the great Aussie icons the "Footy", see what my new hobby is doing to me, everything comes not a priority any more, looks like I might have to get the round up (weed killer) and spray everything, that way its one less time consuming thing I have to do, and more time for me to tinker |
