Velocity Stack


Discussion at Motorized Bicycle Engine Kit Forum in the High Performance Bicycle Engine Tips forum. Is anybody using a velocity stack? It should increase air flow to engine....

Default Velocity Stack

Is anybody using a velocity stack? It should increase air flow to engine.

No but it looks nice. The OD could be 2" - and then a standard air cleaner could clamp to it.

Did you make that?

I wonder if the hole spacing will fit our carbs.......

I'm not sure, but with a K & N fliter on the end, should help performance. But then we will have a problem with the seat tube. For $15.00 I might just get one and try it out.

I've used them on numerous toys. They work fine but the velocity stack's main purpose is so you can use a Uni-filter or K&N style filter. They definetely work better than the stock filter but it will increases your noise level.

I'm not sure but these velocity stacks are made for Walbro carbs.

I don't think this would do much... The inlet of the carb is off center to the center of the diameter of the filter... & these types of devices don't usually aid airflow until the very top end of the RPM range!

I've bought two K&N style filters and both came with the velocity stacks. I wasn't able to mont them beacause they're too small. The filters themselves I was able to mount.
