Carb pooring out gas

Image: http://i311.photobucket.com/albums/kk454/tweakedspots/bkan_13809.gif

Not sure what is making this happen the bikes been running great for awhile. But I hit a bump a few days ago. It seemed to be doing fine but got home and noticed my gas tank was totally empty and the engine and chain was covered in oil. Filled it up and seen the gas is pooring out the carb nearly as fast as I poor it in. I've taken the carb off cleaned it then it ran well for about 2 blocks then sputtered out. Thing was pooring out gas again. Adjusted the fuel flow from the tank and on the carb in to try and compensate but there is no in between it seems. **Opened to 1/2 or full it will spew out gas. * I've got a way to get it to run for a few minutes at a time by starting the engine with the gas totaly off then opening it once its moving. It won't leak and flood out for about 2-3 blocks. Then it starts choking and sputters out pooring gas all over.

After looking threw the forums for awhile I wasn't able to find any post with this problem so I figured I would toss up a thread and ask if anyone has any idea on what might fix it. I know there are some little metal risers in the carb I could bend that might fix the leak but I want to ask and make sure before I do anything like that.

ohm reading on the mag coil

I'm wondering what you guys have for a reading in ohms between the white and blue wire on the mag coil?
here is some of mine
1...345.0 will run lights idle as low as I want it to
2...328.0 ohm same for this
3....315.0 ohms have to set idle faster to idle with lights on.
4....333.0 ohms will idle with lights on same as #1 and#2
I did the measuring right on the mag coils soldered lugs using a digital mulitimeter(fluke brand) set on the ohms scale. I think it went to mega ohms.
I have found that one mag coils reading the 333.0 has a bad connection on the plug in connector
factory made could not get a reading on its end but when plugged into the wiring system it would run
did some looking. found the insulation had been crimped in this connector only the tip was making q connection when plugged in and I mean the very center tip.
Some of the things you take for granted that will/should work won't, doing some checking your going to find stuff that will make you go????????!!!!!!!!
So if I may recommend do check your wires with a meter make sure you have a good solid connection
even if it looks good it may not be funny thing is that dead end also had solder in the end making it look like it was solid. I will resolder it and see if it will make a difference. Could not get any reading on the connectors side to start with just the very tip yet it would work when plugged into the system.
but the low reading coil still doesn't want to run lights and idle yet if I keep the idle up high where I don't like it to idle it works fine must be this coil didn't get the proper amount of windings it don't look any different than all the rest maybe a little bit thinner but tough to measure size wise, other than with the meter.
so I bought a new coil I'll check it and see if it will be a keeper.
let me know your mag coil reading and if you run lights I'd like to know
thanks Norman

head gasket material

Hi norm,i was wondering if you can possibly tell me what would be a good head gasket material to use on my engine from kings motors with slant style plug.also i did a compression check before it blew and it had 190lbs +,is this a normal amount of pressure for these type of engines?and what could be reasons for a HG to blow,as this is the third time it has gone on me.and i have tried copper with no sealant, also tried aluminum with hi-temp alum. paint as a sealer installed with paint wet.

Worked for a while, but now it wont spark

Im new at this, but i dont think there is supposed to be unburnt fuel dripping from the exaust pipe. I finished building my first bike two weeks ago and it was working great until last weekend, when i was out riding. I was half way home and stopped the engine to go down a hill, when i got to the bottom i tried to start it again and it wouldnt start. I tested the spark plug and it works fine, and i checked the carberator and it works perfectly too, im starting to think its ether the wiring or the ignition coil, anyone know what to do and how to fix it? I cant get around as fast on my other bike (no engine) and after riding my gasbike for a week it seems extremely slow in comparison, please help!:-||
