If you need a spark plug go to any auto parts store and tell them you need a plug for a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair. It will work way better than the stock plug. I got a Bosch platinum plus WR8AP.I couldn't find an NGK B5HS or B6HS anywhere locally, but the Bosch works great!

One thing i have learnt from dynoing my car, nothing conducts better that copper.
Ive spent 18.50 per platinum plug in the past, cost 6 time as much but last 10 times longer!
Iridium plugs were my last set before going back to copper! bang for bucks right?

actually, nothing conducts better than gold. Not to cost effective in this case though!! lol. All very important connectors such as air bag connectors are gold plated for this reason. Just thought I'd mention this useless information. Dan

Actually Cu (copper) and Ag are better conductors of electricity than Gold (Au). Ag (Silver) is the best.

further, connectors are gold plated because gold is extremely corrosion resistant. In speaker systems gold is used as it is a soft metal and will conform to a harder metal resulting in a better fit - just dont remove + plug them in too often!
