Re: fixed gear MB=derny

searched derny on here and nuthin: well, probably not a good idea on the road but it would be a blast on the track.

Derny - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

watched the kierin finals and I wonder what engine is in those things and where can I get one:

2008 Beijing Summer Olympics - Cycling | Athlete Profiles, Blogs, Videos & Photos | NBC Olympics
From the noise it was makeing it sounded like a two stroke - the exhaust was low mounted with a small expansion box and angled stinger - but the majority of the engine was hidden behind the triumphesque bodywork.. I would think it would be anything between 25-35 cc. It *could* be one of the CIF engines, but with that exhaust I wouldnt think so - if its a heli-can exhaust then it would be in the wrong position for the CIF.

The only thing that makes me worry about that fairing is if thats all petrol tank thats a whole lotta fuel to spill if you go down and break the fairing/tank

I gotta admit though - it looks great :)
