Right ?

Having and driving a big RV is conservative and riding a bike is liberal ?

There was a "freedom from gas" bicycle ride on the 4th but it was rainy.

They showed it on the news.

All the bikes looked like, well you know, road bikes.

No trikes, no Wald baskets or cruisers or bicycles with assist motors, ect.

We are too broken up into groups ?

Most people would say our country has a lot of problems because we use too much oil.

I heard nothing about that problem yesterday watching Rev. Glenn or Rev. Al.

What can we do ?

Accept the laws and lawmakers that make it harder to get around on a bicycle ?

On Goggle directions you can get directions for by car, walking, bus, bicycle.

Some routes are all different.

The bike routes are sometimes longer than the car routes.

Google is trying to save your life by taking you 3 miles farther to avoid the intersection that is not very safe for bicycles.

I don't care how hard "they" have tried, I have never had trouble riding a bicycle.....well, yeah, when I was 3 it was a little rough, I rode into the garden and crashed, but had it mastered by age 4 and by 5 I was riding my sisters Murray 26" bike all the time.

So who is worse? The Tea Party, Republicans, Democrats, or Independents?

That's like asking which is worse syphilis, or gonorrhea.

In the 1930's when times were hard they built a nice park with miles of bike paths near my house.

The last time I was there people were waiting in a long line to pay and get in.

We are building roads on the other side of the world that keep getting blown up and we are electing leaders that are against building bicycle paths in the USA ? ? ? usflg

We are also blowing up stuff all over the world for various reasons, but none of them make sense to me....doesn't make it wrong, to some folks.

Now I will just leave it at that.

I agree the links sound like conspiracy theory whackos, but.......If you take the true conservative view all the way to the edge, ala Libertarian, you would find that conservative principals would be against public funding for bike paths, bike paths are fine, just not the federal governments responsibility. I would agree with that principal why should my federal tax money be spent on a bike path. On a municipal level, if the community agrees to fund the path that is fine. Just because I don't feel like spending your money to build myself a bike path, does not mean that I am against them...

Now if you take the liberal view to the extreme ala Socialism... Not only is the government responsible to provide me with a bike path, but the better give me a bike as well. That is a great position to win over uninformed voters, because they forget that some one has to pay for the path and bikes. Just because I am willing to spend your money on some one elses bike path does not mean I like bike paths, it is just hey are more likely to vote for me than you.....

And yes Lindsey or Paris can probably do just as good of job as any one else in congress right now, because our political apathy has led to some great career oppourtunities for some pretty dumb people.
