do they both fit?

I've got an Iron Horse mtb with disc brakes and am planning to add an engine to it, most back wheel sprockets for motor bikes that i've seen pictures of show them right where my disc is, so I'm not certain how to fit them both.

thanks for the help.. i need to go on a brokeman's road trip this summer and I think freight trains are the last resort this time.

okay, so I'm pretty set on the shift kit, but want to know a little more, I'm most likely using a 21speed 26in mtb with fat tires, with the shift tkit, can you still use the three cranks in the front, or is it modified to one on the origonal drivechain? I ask because with one i wouldn't be able to properly use all 7 back cogs, I also have an ol 3speed, but it's not what i had in mind.

the shift kit basically makes it so the motor pedals for you.

instead of the rear freewheel spinning the peddles have a freewheel with the drive chain from the motor attached. you will need a non freewheel rear cassette. if you get a 7 speed you shouldn't notice any difference at all
