A co-worker who lives in Ashtabula city (yes the famous bike part co. city) just got stopped on his bike because he ran a stop sign. That was a non motorized bike, I think he'd have gotten a ticket if it had a bicycle motor on it.

The cops don't seem to care that a lot of bikers ride thier "regular" bikes on the sidewalks here, but I sure wouldn't do it on my motorized bike.

I think I'm trying to say, some may get cut some slack on bicycles, but the engine always draws attention, good and bad.
