Default It's therapy hon

I think I have figured out the best saving of all. Not only is the bike inexpensive to buy, and god knows 100+ mpg speaks for itself. All that and it's the best darn therapy in the world.

I defy any man to ride a fragile motor bike at twenty plus miles per hour on a beat up piece of asphalt, with cars whizzing by, and think of his miserable job. Your wife's weight problem or your kids grades, just can't enter into your mind. It's all about your physical sense of being in control and fighting to keep from becoming a statistic.

It's also about the looks you get from the people who wouldn't even see you, if it weren't for the bike. Oh sure, it's about cursing the people in cars who didn't see you on your bike too. It's a chance to vent for a legit problem, not one that makes you sound paranoid. Yes the MF really was trying to kill you with his SUV.

It about being somebody else for as long as the gas lasts. Being that person whose only concerns in life aren't the house payment or what your friends will think, but about just keeping the bugs out of his teeth. It's about seeing the world at twenty miles an hour not eighty.

I think my dad said it best. A man is never happier than when he is enjoying the fruits of his OWN labor. Not the fruit you buy at the store, but the fruit you actually had a hand in growing. You just can't stay depressed when you ride a motorbike regularly.

How can you ride that fifty pounds of metal and not have a real sense of self worth. It's like being sixteen again and driving a car for the first time. Only this one you built yourself and it belongs to you. It doesn't belong to you and the bank, just you.

Has anyone ever seen a motor bike in the garage of a mass murderer. A true psycho could never manage to get the darn thing running without blowing a gasket. So take heart you just proved to yourself that you aren't really sick after all.

I leave you with this final thought, You don't need a shrink, if you have a motor bike.
