I have used bright red fingernail paint to work as poorboy locktight. I also used it when I was building my airplane. When I had torqued a fastener I would dab the paint on the fitting. I could tell at a glance if the fastener was properly torqued by seeing the red paint. I also like it on my toenails.
I'm kidding again...... What!!DO I have to post a picture of my toes to prove that they are not painted?!!!!
