Re: way of the future But you know there honestly is a point there. The charm of the China engine is that you not only get the engine but you do get a lot more than you pay for. You get the fun of building a one of a kind bike, that self expression isn't figured into the price of the engine...
You also get the satisfaction of keeping it going by hook and crook, challenging your inventiveness that isn't in the price of the engine...
You get the opportunity to tell your story, because if you are like me you get asked on almost every ride where it came from and how you did it. that isn't in the price of the engine. The attention is worth a lot more than the price of the engine kit.
Sometimes you don't just get what you pay for.
