Sorry to hear of your problems. If you were to post pictures with specific questions we may be able to walk you through the instalation process. These engines are designed to fit a diamond frame much like the 3-speeds of yester-year, I have never heard of an ajustable engine mount that came with these kits. Most of us hear have had to kustom fit our engines to our individual bikes. As for identifying the other parts you mentioned, I'm not going to try to answer without pictures.
