If you remove the clutch adjuster nut and pull the clutch plate off you will see 3 small holes about half way between the center and the teeth. This is where you can grease the little bearings.

I haven't done any additional sound deadening other than what you see. I didn't find that the fin rubbers did very much at all. I don't think they were worth the hassle.
