Too much oil in the mix will cause you some problems in short order....go to 24 or 32:1 mix. Too much oil will cause bigtime carbon build up and ring sticking just to mention two problems. O.K. here's a third- it will make your fuel/air mixture too lean and that's not a good thing either.

If the rings were squeeking, it would only do it for a second or two before it blew up.
