It was clamped before. I changed the cylinder, piston and head to high compression. Changed the reed, intake and carburetor. It is the dellorto racing 21mm. The engine should be close to the 9.4 (3.2 to start) hp engine. Only the ignition is different. The exhaust is new. It is a Simonini pipe with a carbon fiber silencer (loud). I cut the head pipe off and rewelded it. I welded the manifold (made out of water pipe) for my engine to the pipe as well. I powder coated most of the parts flat black. Changed the gearing a little and added a SBP heavy duty freewheel. I changed the bearings in the front hub to ceramic. The tires are new as well. The frame is filled with lead and my top speed so far is 54mph. I'm 59 yrs old and my goal is 60 mph by the time I'm 60 yrs old. lol

By the way, I have about 1200 miles on the Nexus 8 speed hub, without incident.

all i got was the engine, no carb/exhaust or electronics outside of the starter and regular wires from the motor.

I was wondering if i could use my electronics (CDI, ignition box, etc.), carb & intake manifold from the 50cc engine currently on it. I havef looked at many of the electronics online for this engine and it seems like the electronics for the 50cc engines are good up to 125cc.

anyways i dont know much about this motor other then i google to model number stamped into it beneith the shifter (XYA152FMH-050307472) and everything points in the direction of it being 110cc and powerful.

any information about this engine would be greatly appreciated. As well as does it charge a battery and top speed.

I've got a newer (maybe '04) OCC type Schwinn Stingray with the seating tube cut totally from the frame. I don't think this has really effected stability.

What I need to know, though, is what is the largest and best 4 stroke engine I could fit into this thing? I'm not sure exactly how much room I have to work with, but I'd like to think I could fit maybe up to a 125 dirtbike engine in there, albeit a little uncomfortably.

So if you know anything, as I'm new to this, what all should I do/what can I do to make this bike run strong and proper?

Any advice is appreciated. The goal is to go street legal and pull off the highest possible speeds. It'd be great if you guys could tell me how to switch to a disc brake system too. Got my engine in the mail yesterday and waiting to get my engine mount from barry once it is here the building and moddifying process may begin, but I have read about these sproket adapter for the schwinn occ, are they realy needed?, or is there ways to work without the adapter?, cause I dont realy want to keep spending money as postage to Australia isn't exactly cheap. I haven't started the build so I wouldn't know if there sproket wasnt fitting right.

I'm starting to design a street legal vintage style board track racer. Time is hard to come by these days and the wife thinks I'm insane to even start a project like this, but I don't care if it takes me three years to finish it. For me most of the fun is in the building, the riding is simply the cherry on top. I'm starting to nail down proportions in Solidworks so it looks the way I want prior to bending any pipe. This is the easy part for me. The pace of the build will be painfully slow, I'm sure.

I'd really like to use 28" tires - I simply prefer their proportions to a 55" wheelbase, but with all this talk of clinchers coming off the rims due to low pressure I'm a little... hesitant. We'll see.

I have a Lifan 153FMG 100cc engine on order. It's small and has plenty of fins - maybe not the most authentic look, but I'm sure it'll do. Electrics for lighting and a clutch are a nice bonus.

I'd like to offer thanks to Chuck (and all the rest of you) for your inspirational work - looking at your masterful frames stirred the creative juices in me - thanks :)

The wheel has the stock alloy rim and the brake is adjusted properly but the pads just don't grab well. I've tried different pads from a Specialized I have that work fine on it but still seem to slide on this wheel. Is it the metal/surface?

I don't really want to depend on the coaster brake. Anyone else with a similar problem? Thoughts or suggestions?

Spec: They're both 4 stroke @ 31cc... so they don't have much.

The chain must be heavier than the belt, plus the chain has a pully eating some power.
